Shipping Prices and Tiers

Shipping costs are subject to change. Many products, specifically non-perishable items, ship for free or heavily discounted prices due to not needing ice packs and expedited shipping. Free Shipping, Flat Fee, and Discounted Shipping options are available only where 3 day shipping is offered by our carriers. Please refer to the checkout process for up-to-date prices. 

Note: Large bulk orders (like 1/2 Whole Beef and 1/4 Whole Beef orders) are not covered by our normal shipping policy.

Here are our general guidelines of what to expect for shipping costs on perishable items:

Expedited Shipping

Expedited Shipping options, such as overnight, 2nd day air, and the like are offered in the checkout process as available by our carriers. If you have a question about when an order may arrive or what shipping option may be best for you, please call us at (940) 500-2227 (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm).

Discounted and Free Shipping Availability

Advertised free, flat fee, or discounted shipping rates are applicable only where 3 day ground shipping is available (currently excludes Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii). Items such as gift certificates/gift cards do not count towards free shipping thresholds. Some items may require an additional cost to ship due to specific circumstances such as size or shipping timeframes.

Deadlines and Timing

There is 2:00 PM (CST) deadline for orders to be placed and ship that day.

We ship orders to most Texas addresses Monday-Thursday if they are in a next day delivery area. Orders to far west Texas and other states are shipped Monday-Wednesday to avoid the delay of sitting in a warehouse on Sundays. You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order is shipped.

Frozen Shipments
All meat shipped with 1-2 day options should arrive frozen. Shipments that are 3 days should arrive partially thawed or at refrigerator temperature. Once you receive your beef, place in refrigerator or freezer immediately upon arrival. Even if your beef is partially thawed, you can place it back in the freezer - it will not affect the quality of your beef.

Shipping to Multiple Addresses
If you would like to ship to multiple addresses in a single order, we offer the ability to do so via the Shipping items to multiple locations? link on the cart page.

All shipping costs and available shipping discounts are calculated and assigned on a per address basis. On single orders shipping to multiple recipients, each shipping address will need to meet the minimum amount to qualify for discounts.

Domestic Shipping
Shipping is available in the 48 Contiguous United States (AKA the Lower 48). If you're located in Alaska or Hawaii and would like to place an order, feel free to contact us at wellborn2rranch@gmail.com and we can see about a custom rate for your order.

International Shipping
Due to import/export restrictions, we are unable to ship our products outside the United States.
