Not all filets are created equal, and no one way is right. We created Cut Your Own so everyone can have exactly the cut they want: thick, thin, it is your choice. If your family is like ours, everyone has a different opinion. Why not make everyone happy? The tenderloin is a 3 to 4 pound whole tenderloin, easy to cut with a standard kitchen knife, and no one has to compromise. The best part: since our butcher gets a break, you get a saving on the same tenderloin we sell already cut.

How to cut it
Thaw, pat dry, and use your longest sharp knife. Cut across the muscle: the thick center makes classic filets, the tapered end makes smaller steaks and tips. Portion them how your table likes them, wrap what you do not cook, and freeze the rest.

Cut in our own butcher shop on the ranch. All natural, 100% USA beef, grass fed and grain finished, with no antibiotics and no added hormones. Orders ship from the ranch in Henrietta, frozen and vacuum sealed in insulated packaging.

Roughly 6 to 8 at 7 to 8 oz, depending on how thick you cut them. This tenderloin can easily feed a whole family and then some.

It ships frozen in insulated packaging and keeps in your freezer until a few days before you cook it. Shipping is free on orders of $249 or more, and on orders of $149.99 or more in Texas and Oklahoma.
