Wellborn 2R Ranch Reserve Boneless Chuck Roast (3–4 lb)
This 3–4 pound boneless chuck roast comes from the shoulder, where real beef flavor is built. It’s a working cut with natural marbling that holds up to long, slow cooking and rewards patience with deep, beef-forward flavor and fork-tender texture.
Our chuck roasts are cut from Ranch Reserve cattle raised on open pasture and finished for consistency. We leave the fat where it belongs. No trimming to make it look pretty. When cooked low and slow, that fat melts down and turns into its own rich cooking liquid.
This is the cut you reach for when you want one meal to carry several dinners. Pot roast. Shredded beef. Mississippi-style roast. Leftovers that get better the next day.

Eight hours in a slow cooker or four to five hours in a low oven delivers fall-apart results without drying the meat.
