All-Natural Beef Cube Steak
Cube steak is about comfort food, not complexity.
Our cube steak is cut from the eye of round, one of the leanest muscles on the animal, then mechanically tenderized to create its signature texture. That tenderization helps the steak cook evenly and absorb seasoning, making it ideal for quick, high-impact preparations.
Each package includes 1 lb of cube steak, portioned into four steaks, approximately 4 oz each and about ¾ inch thick.
This is the cut behind classic Texas chicken fried steak. It is meant to be cooked fast, finished with gravy, and served hot. Lean beef. Crisp crust. No guessing.
How it’s best used
Cube steak shines when cooked country style. Dredge. Fry. Rest briefly. Serve with cream gravy. It can also be pan-seared or braised briefly, but it is not a cut for grilling or long dry heat.

We go the extra mile to ensure traceability of each animal on our ranch – from birth to harvest. All of our cattle are Black Angus breed, age, and source verified, as well as Verified Natural Beef through WFCF’s high standards.
