Sirloin is a dependable, everyday steak we rely on here on the ranch.
It is lean, beef-forward, and cooks consistently, which is why it works just as well for a quick weeknight meal as it does when you are cooking several steaks at once. On a working ranch, reliability matters, and sirloin delivers it.
Our sirloin comes from cattle raised on open pasture and managed with steady, low-stress handling throughout the year. Calm cattle and consistent feeding show up in the meat. Texture stays firm. Flavor stays clean. Nothing gets rushed.
Each steak is cut thick, then wet aged to improve tenderness without breaking down the muscle. Sirloin is not meant to be delicate. It is meant to hold up on the grill, slice clean after resting, and eat well without heavy seasoning. Medium-rare to medium is the sweet spot.
You will notice that ordering more steaks lowers the price per steak. That is intentional. Sirloin is one of the best cuts for stocking the freezer because it freezes well, reheats better than most steaks, and stays versatile across meals. Many customers order multiple steaks at a time for better value and fewer shipments.
Cook it whole. Slice it thin for salads or tacos. Grill several at once for the week ahead. Sirloin fits into real cooking, not special occasions only.

No antibiotics. No added hormones. Nothing Artificial. Ever! Cattle eat a vegetarian diet of top-quality grains, forages and essential nutrients. Cattle receive treatment when needed to restore health, but they are no longer eligible to be in our Verified Natural Beef Program.

At Wellborn 2R we want every animal in our care to "live it’s best life" every day and make every effort in the proper care, treatment, and humane processing of our animals. Additionally, we implement conservation practices that help sustain or improve the environment for future generations. We have better beef, produced in a better way.

We go the extra mile to ensure traceability of each animal on our ranch – from birth to harvest. All of our cattle are Black Angus breed, age, and source verified, as well as Verified Natural Beef through WFCF’s high standards.

Yes. To lock in peak flavor and preserve quality, we flash-freeze every cut at the perfect moment. It arrives frozen and vacuum-sealed, ready when you are.
Do you use hormones or antibiotics?
Never. Our beef is 100% all-natural—no added hormones, no antibiotics. Just real, clean beef raised the right way.
How is your beef shipped?
